Parking maximums in West Melbourne

Amendment c385melb has been gazetted by the state government Planning Minister, eliminating parking minimums and imposing parking maximums:

Our view

Streets Alive Yarra supports the amendment. We’d like to see similar reforms in Yarra, i.e.:

  • eliminating parking minimums for all properties in Yarra, and
  • imposing parking maximums (of 1 bay per 100 m2 of floor area) for all properties within the Principal Public Transport Network area.
