Councillors will consider amendment C269 at the council meeting on 3rd August 2021, to decide whether it should proceed to a planning panel. We last wrote about this in November 2020, when the amendment was on public exhibition. Now, in 2021, we’re supporting the officer recommendation for the amendment to proceed to a planning panel. We believe the amendment reflects community views, as identified during the Liveable Yarra process, and as reflected in multiple adopted council policies and strategies, including the Social Justice Charter.
