Our view
Streets Alive Yarra is proud to support the consensus statement. The benefits and business case are clear and solid. We urge the state government needs to step up and provide a stable revenue stream to local government councils across Victoria, to enable them to plan and manage a cost efficient sequence of investments.
In addition, we urge the City of Yarra to publicly support the consensus statement, and speed up the delivery of an Integrated Transport Plan.
