New wombat crossing near Mollison Street

Sometime between 2009 and 2013 (source: Google Maps), i.e. before the most recent LAPM study (shown below), Council installed a new raised pedestrian (wombat) crossing near Mollison Street:

Local Area Place Making (LAPM) study

Council conducted a LAPM study in 2018 and adopted a plan to be delivered in 2019/20. Victoria Crescent was identified as having bicycle crashes, however the only recommendation was to add a raised pedestrian crossing near Gipps Street.
