- 40 km/h speed limit
- Pedestrian refuge
- Green bike surfacing
- “Give Way to Pedestrian” sign

Our view
We welcome and support the investment in safety, and even better would be to:
- Conduct a Safe System assessment of Bridge Road
- Conduct a Movement & Place assessment of Bridge Road
- Review Infrastructure Victoria recommendations on managing congestion
- Identify that Bridge Road would benefit from wider footpaths, protected bicycle lanes, level access tram stops and more trees
- Invest in the ‘Melbourne Shopping Street‘ reference design for Bridge Road
