In 2003, residents of Kerr, George and Westgarth Streets in the LAPM precinct of Rose asked council to implement measures to reduce through traffic.

Last LAPM review
Rose was last reviewed in 2014, when $576k worth of works were implemented. Council does not offer a copy of the complete report on its website.

What Yarra can do
Council could review each LAPM area in each 4-year term of council, and offer an average budget of $2m each. This would enable Rose to be continually improved.
Rose Street
Rose Street hosts the Rose Street Market, cafes and other businesses. Rose Street has recently been upgraded to a shared zone.
